TV emotions.

i just got teary-eyed over a Huggies commercial.
good grief.
should i even explain this?
okay.
sitting here on the couch, trying to apply mascara, getting ready for work... and then all of a sudden, this guy (on TV) starts running across a field to some inspiring music, wearing some cool red shoes (which i kinda want, because they had velcro).
and then suddenly, i (the viewer) discover that the reason he is running so fast and strong is because he is playing "chase" with his toddler... who now runs faster because he (the toddler) is wearing Huggies diapers. there is then this adorable shot of the toddler laughing when his dad "catches" him... and i notice myself blinking quicker, because somehow this has evoked subterranean emotions in me to the surface.
and again i say... good grief.

directly after that - oh wait, this is the really great part -
i got incredibly angry from hearing another bad jingle on TV... "thanks to the Good Feet store".
i understand not everybody can stay on pitch.
and that is okay.
but if that is you?
don't record a jingle!
somebody got paid to create, produce, and deliver a bad product to millions of consumers. this injustice irks me.
apparently.

i don't know if this is healthy -
but it sure makes it easier to learn how to laugh at myself.

  1. write a new jingle and send it to the good feet store! I bet they'd listen to it and will def. be blown away... b/c heaven knows we are all tired of that dumb commercial!
